Learning materials, sources and corrections

Our resources bring together explanations, worked examples, coding activities and practice. This page explains their scope and how to tell us when something needs correcting.

Exam boards and curriculum scope

The published GCSE pathways are OCR J277 and AQA 8525 for examinations from 2027. We organise topics against versioned curriculum mappings. A shared topic can have different requirements for each board; enrichment is not automatically an exam requirement.

Our mappings are independent. They do not mean that OCR or AQA endorses the platform. For the definitive assessment requirements, use the OCR J277 specification information or AQA 8525 subject content.

Worked examples and practice

Original examples and original mock questions are teaching resources, not official exam-board questions. When a resource identifies an official paper or mark scheme, check the board, paper and year shown with it.

A useful explanation should show its reasoning. When tracing code, compare the stated inputs, changing values and expected output. When comparing algorithms, check what operation is being counted and which assumptions apply.

Authorship and automated guidance

The Python books are credited to AlgoPath Coding Academy and published by Code&AI Limited. Each book page describes its level and contents; the A level volumes cover selected programming topics, not the whole qualification.

The virtual tutor provides computer-generated guidance. It can make mistakes. Check an explanation against the lesson, test code with suitable inputs, and ask your teacher when an answer remains unclear. Automated feedback is not an official exam result.

Report a correction

Send a correction to services@code-ai.co.uk. Include the page address or book title and chapter, the relevant board if applicable, and the particular statement, calculation or code example you want us to check.

For code, a small input and the expected and actual output help identify the problem. Please leave out personal information and passwords.
